Jawa Motorcycles - Est. 1929
First established by František Janeček in Prague in 1929. Jawa is an amazing story of survival and innovation. Jawa has seen private ownership, a major world war, occupation, state ownership, the fall of the USSR, the splitting of Czechoslovakia into independent states, the building of satellite factories in India and Egypt, the establishment of private ownership and the move into the European Union.

They are still proudly a Czech company and like any modern vehicle producer they work with international suppliers including the far east. All motorcycles are either built or undergo final assembly in Czech Republic.
