Jawa is justifiably proud to be a European manufacturer.
The engine comes straight from Minarelli, the famous
engine builders of Bologna, Italy, which is now part of the
Yamaha group of companies.
The suspension is produced for Jawa by Paioli, one
of the most respected suspension builders in Italy.
Tyres are Continental ContiAttacks front and rear.
Switch gear, electrics and fuel injector system are
all sourced from the best that Europe can offer.
Jawa then take these parts, add a huge heap of
design flair and build the Sportard in their European
Czech Republic factory.

The Jawa 660 Sportard heralds a new era for Jawa.
They've worked very hard to get it right.
The right parts, sourced from the right companies,
with the right design, assembled with care and attention.
The result is a stunning looking bike, built for today's rider.
A bike that can easily commute, tour or just blow the
cobwebs out at the weekend.

For the more adventurous, a change of tyres and the addition
of our optional luggage is all that's needed to
convert the Sportard into an adventure tourer for rougher terrain.

We can supply Givi Trekker luggage, the new range of
super tough adventure bike luggage.

Jawa 660 Tyres Guide
The Jawa 660 Sportard is supplied with Continental Road Attack tyres, which are wonderful on the road, they suit the bike well, they grip well both wet and dry and they give loads of feedback. They are 100% road tyres, so not so good off road. We offer two different alternative tyres as an extra cost option. The Continental Trail Attack tyres are deeply grooved road tyres designed to be very nearly as good as Road Attacks on tarmac but offer a useful amount of grip off road. Finally the TKC 80 tyres which look awesome and have enough off road grip for most people while still being much better than you might expect on the road. We have produced a guide to help you decide which is the best tyre for you.

Continental Road Attack

This is the standard tyre fitted from the factory. 100% road tyre designed by Continental to offer as near as possible the same level of grip and feel as a true super sport tyre but with extended life for touring. It is an excellent road tyre.

Continental Trail Attack

A great choice for mainly road use, but with occasional excursions on to dry or slightly muddy off road tracks. They still look like road tyres at first glance, but have been cleverly designed by continental to offer more off road grip then their appearance would suggest.

Continental TKC 80

Developed by Continental to meet the growing need from large fast powerful adventure bikes that have to work as long distance tourers as well as off road explorers. Excellent off road grip on almost any surface and surprisingly good on the road.
